Todd Ramsay new Bellingham police chief

Bellngham Mayor Dan Pike has named interim police chief Todd Ramsay as the new Bellingham Police Chief.

Bellingham Police Explorers

The Bellingham Police Explorers is a part of the Volunteer Services Program within the Police Department. It allows high school age men and women to explore careers in the criminal justice field while volunteering with the police department.

Bellngham Mayor Dan Pike has named interim police chief Todd Ramsay as the new Bellingham Police Chief. Ramsay has been the interim police chief since former Randy Carroll who retired in January.

Ramsay was born and raised in Bellingham attending Bellingham High School. He began in the Explorers Program in 1982 before attending Washington State University and returned to work for the Bellingham Police Department afterwords.

Former police chief Randy Carroll retired at the end of January after 30 years with the department. and Ramsay has ben since.
