Shred for Bread Event April 12th

On Saturday, April 12th from 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. George and Cindy Myiow of A-1 Shredding, Inc. will shred your confidential documents on-site in the parking lot at 770 e. holly st. (at the convergence of Lakeway, Ellis and Holly) with the proceeds donated to the Bellingham Food Bank. In 2007 the Bellingham Food Bank distributed 1.7 million pounds of food to hungry Bellingham Families Each month the Bellingham Food Bank responds to 6,500 visits by distributing 170,000 lbs of food 35% of their clients are children 16% are senior citizens During the first months of 2008 The Bellingham Food Bank was 25% busier than in 2007 60% of Bellingham Food Bank households report skipping or cutting the size of their meals on at least a weekly basis. It’s springtime; it’s tax time, it’s just the right time to dispose of those sensitive documents. Here’s an opportunity to protect yourself from id theft and assist your community at the same time as the proceeds will be donated to the Bellingham Food Bank.
