Holly at Railroad Ave. I was advised by people in the crowd that they were there in a tribute to Michael Jackson who has passed away. Location: 000 BLK BELLIS FAIR PK Offense: THEFT Case #: 09B22866 (W1) was waiting for a family member at the Mall by JC PENNEY when she saw (A1) sitting in a white car backed up to another car. Outside the second car were two men. One male, (A2), appeared to be looking out for the other while on a cell phone, the other male, (S1) broke out a side window to the car behind (A1)'s car, went into the victim's car removing some thing from the car. (W1) called 911 and then saw (S1) get out of the victim vehicle and jump into the car with (A1) and (A2). The suspect(s) then left the Bellis Fair parking lot and (W1) was able to follow them until a police officer intercepted them. Once stopped, (S1) fled from the car, he was not located. (A1) and (A2) were both contacted and subsequently taken into custody for Theft 1st, and Vehicle Prowl 1st and booked into the Whatcom County Jail. (C1) said he was just trying to talk to a gal when her boyfriend started the fight. (C1) said they fought for a minute and then they were done. We were unable to locate anyone else associated with the fight and (C1) did not was to make a report.
