Dakota Creek Winery Spring Release
Wednesday, 06 May 2009

Dakota Creek Winery will release NINE new wines beginning the 8th through Mothers Day weekend.

Dakota Creek Winery (3575 Haynie Rd. Blaine, WA) is one of six Whatcom County wineries celebrating their new releases this weekend. Other participating wineries are Chuckanut Ridge Wine Company, Glacial Lake Missoula Wine Company, Mount Baker Vineyards, Samson Estates and Vartanyan Estate Winery.

Several of Dakota Creek’s wines are available in VERY small quantities, so this is your chance to try these limited editions. Featured wines include the 2007 Firefighter Red and the new 2007 Jill’s Blend.

In a continuing effort to support the local art community, Dakota Creek Winery will have two Whatcom County artists on-site demonstrating, displaying and selling their art.

Also, on this weekend, the Sweet Road Artisan’s Alliance will once again be presenting their SPRINGFEST MOTHER’S DAY ART STUDIO TOUR. Take Mom out for an enjoyable day of wine, art and a leisurely drive in the country as you explore the fine wineries and artists studios of Whatcom County. Tour maps are available at the winery.

May 8th, 9th & 10th (Mother’s Day Weekend) 10 AM – 5 PM. Dakota Creek Winery
